Salat has many medical benefits

Salat or prayer not only cleanses the soul of the believers, refreshes their moods and lets the spirits go high, but also has many medical benefits. People follow yoga, and non-Muslims may not agree with Islamic ways, even though they are the best, proven by science!
"Establish regular prayers at the sun's decline till the darkness of the night, And the morning prayer and reading: for the prayer and reading in the *morning carry their testimony." Israa: 78

In their book 'Proven Home Remedies and Natural Healing Secrets' 1993, a group of American authors states that getting out of bed at night, doingsimple exercises inside the house, doing light intensity physical activities, massaging the extremities with water, and breathing deeply have several health benefits. Moreover, scientific studies have proven that people who wake up for some time at night and do some exercises aren't exposed to sudden death while being a sleep. Praise be to Allah for sending us Prophet Mohammad, the prophet of mercy, who directed  us to do all that is in our best interest both in this world and in the hereafter. Prophet Mohammad, may the peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, used to get up at night, do Wudoo (ablution), pray, and contemplate the (Wonders) of Allah's creation. The question is are we following his steps and doing what he instructed us to do?
ll recent medical studies emphasize the significance of walking for healing many diseases at the top of which are blood pressure and heart diseases as well as high sugar. Besides, daily walking for half an hour helps improve andorganize heart functioning, improves one's mood, activates the muscles, and helps in getting rid of daily life pressures, anxiety, and depression. Prophet Mohammad, may the peace and blessings of Allah be upon him,  was so merciful that he taught and urged Muslims to walk to mosques, an action for which they are greatly rewarded.  Imam Muslim reported: the messenger of Allah ,may the peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said: "The person who will receive the highest reward for Salat
(prayer) is the one who comes to perform it in the mosque from the farthest distance."
Researchers declare that people have to do more physical activities
at regular intervals each day; a study conducted by some researchers fromKing's College, the prestigious British university, revealed that lack ofphysical activity might lead to premature ageing.
Washing the face with water regularly at least five times a day has also proven to be beneficial for the skin.
The benefits of Wudhu or ablution:
In an article titled “Muslims Rituals and their Effect on the Person’s Health”, Dr. Magomed Magomedov, assistant to the department of the Man’s General Hygiene and Ecology in the Daghestan State Medical Academy, speaks about how ablution stimulates the biological rhythms of the body and specifically Biological Active Spots (BASes), very much like the idea behind Chinese reflexotherapy. reflexotherapy was primarily used to cure diseases and very rarely for prevention, while, as we shall see, ablution has many preventive benefits.
Thus, ablution becomes a kind of treatment complex, which includes thehydromassage of the BAS, their thermal and physical stimulation.
The BASes in the face (which are washed during ablution) “recharge” suchorgans as the intestines, stomach and bladder, in addition to having apositive effect on the nervous and reproductive systems, says Dr.Magomedov in his findings, adding that the BAS responsible for the osseous system, intestine, nervous system, lumbar area, stomach, pancreas, gall-bladder, thyroid gland, solar plexus and others are situated on the right leg, another area reached by ablution.
salat, namaz
